The project implementation period is from 01.11.2022 to 31.10.2025 (3 years)
The main goals of the project are:
- deepening of knowledge about European Studies of social innovations in education as a key driver of social sustainable development and social sustainability;
- creation of the Jean Monet Center of Excellence “European Studies of Social Innovations in Education” at the National Pedagogical University named after M.P. Drahomanov with the idea of connecting the best research results with pedagogical activities, offering new forms of teaching and learning methods and educational programs with a special emphasis on social innovations and the involvement of the community and youth;
- directing students, teachers and other interested parties of the educational process to a deeper understanding of European studies of social innovations in education, to the implementation of significant local and foreign educational, research and social projects in the focus of the best European practices of social innovations;
- initiating and communicating EU best practices regarding social responsibility initiatives in support of the third mission of NPSU and partner universities, achieving the 17 SDGs and social innovation for refugees;
- promoting Europe’s unique brand of global responsible citizenship and values, raising awareness of the European Union and facilitating future engagement, as well as people-to-people dialogue;
- establishing a university center that builds its expertise in program development for inclusion, social cohesion and innovation to help address the impact and reduce social tension and collective PTSD in the post-war period;
- increasing the social responsibility of universities based on the best European practices of social innovation, training in management, involvement of the community and youth.
