INTERNATIONAL SPRING SCHOOL <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cInclusion, Social Responsibility and Entrepreneurship. Social Innovations for Community Development and Youth Engagement\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n for students, young scientists, postgraduate students, doctoral candidates, researchers, lecturers, civil society and community members<\/p>\n\n\n\n Genoa (Italy) \u2013 Berlin (Germany) \u2013 Kyiv \u2013 Melitopol (Ukraine),<\/p>\n\n\n\n March 17 \u2013 April 18, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n DOWNLOAD INFORMATION LIST (PDF) <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Spring School is held as part of the implementation of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence project <\/strong>ESSIE <\/strong>\u201cEuropean Social Innovation Studies in Education\u201d (101085552 \u2013 <\/strong>ESSIE- <\/strong>ERASMUS-JMO-2022-COE) and in synergy with the Erasmus+ KA2 project<\/strong> UNICOM<\/strong> \u201cUniversities-Communities: <\/strong>Strengthenin<\/strong>g Cooperation\u201d (10108307 \u2013 UNICOM \u2014 ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE) and the Jean Monnet Module \u201cEuropean Practices of Social and Economic Inclusion\u201d (101127466 \u2013 EPSEI \u2013 ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH). It also supports the sustainability of the Jean Monnet Chair \u201cSocial and Cultural Aspects of E<\/strong>U<\/strong> Studies\u201d (SCAES) (620635-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR). The Spring School is held with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Main Directions of the Spring School<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Within the Spring School, an international internship at the University of Genoa will take place, as well as an advanced training program from the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. The program includes webinar training by Professor Diana Spulber, workshops by Professor Marja Nesterova, Professor Maryna Dielini, and leading researcher Olena Orzhel on the topics of social innovations, social responsibility, and social inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Also, for independent study, the following courses will be provided: \u201cEU Inclusive Policy\u201d, \u201cSocial Responsibility of Universities\u201d, \u201cEU Social Inclusion\u201d, \u201cThird Mission of Universities\u201d, as well as \u201cSocial Entrepreneurship and Innovations in University and Community Development\u201d, \u201cEuropean Policy of Social Cohesion\u201d, \u201cEconomic and Legal Foundations of Integration and Community Engagement: European Experience\u201d. Apart from the online conference and distance courses, weekly mentoring support will be offered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Spring School will run from March 17 to April 18, 2025<\/strong>, with a total workload of approximately 180 hours (6 ECTS credits<\/strong>). A corresponding certificate will be awarded upon completion, subject to passing the test assignments and active online participation. Participants will gain new practical tools drawn from the best European practices in the fields of social responsibility and inclusion, social cohesion, social innovation ideas, social entrepreneurship, and principles of community engagement for the sustainable development of universities and society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The online part<\/strong> of the Spring School will take place from March 17 to March 21, 2025, from 12:00 to 17:00 Kyiv time (11:00 \u2013 16:00 CET).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Roundtable discussion on “Educational Policies for Strengthening the Third Mission of Universities” with participation of experts from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine \u2013 March 17, 2025, from 13:00 to 17:00 (Kyiv time).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Conference “Social Cohesion in Ukraine: Youth Engagement and Community Development” organized by the Faculty of Sociology and Social Policy, Mykhailo Drahomanov Ukrainian State University, will be held in a hybrid format on March 19, 2025, from 12:00 to 17:00 (Kyiv time).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Roundtable “Social Inclusion and Its Dimensions” will take place online on March 20, 2025, from 12:00 to 17:00 (Kyiv time).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Mentoring sessions will be held every Friday from 12:00 to 13:30 (Kyiv Time) on the following dates: March 28, April 4, April 11, and April 18, 2025.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Languages<\/strong>: English and Ukrainian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Registration Link: Click here<\/a><\/u>.
